$15,000 AmaWaterways Luxury Cruise Headlines IPT Sunset Polo™ USA–Thailand Celebration at Morven Park
Sunset Polo, Thai cultural dances, a celebrity DJ, pageant titleholders & a drone finale unite to benefit We Will Survive Cancer.

IPT Sunset Polo™ under the lights, two spectacular Thai cultural dance shows, a celebrity DJ, international pageant titleholders representing Thailand, American and Thai cuisine, luxury hospitality, a $15,000 European river cruise auction and a choreographed drone show will come together Saturday, September 19, as the International Polo Tour® (IPT) returns to Morven Park International Equestrian Center for its Sunset Polo™ White Lotus 250th Anniversary Polo Cup.
Highlighting the charity auction, AmaWaterways has donated a $15,000 luxury European river cruise for two, featuring world-class accommodations, gourmet dining, curated excursions and panoramic river views. Auction proceeds will support We Will Survive Cancer (WWSC) and its mission of supporting people and families facing cancer.
“We are incredibly grateful to AmaWaterways for contributing such an extraordinary experience,” said Tareq Salahi, Chairman of the International Polo Tour® and Chairman of Hotels & Resorts at Sea® Luxury Cruises. “September 19 is designed to be much more than a polo match. We are creating an entire Saturday-night experience—sport, culture, hospitality, entertainment and giving back—from the first throw-in through the final drone in the sky.”
The evening will feature a Celebrity All-Star Polo Match, including former NFL player Tim Johnson; an America’s 250th USA–Thailand Ambassadors Cup; and the International Polo Tour Crypto Cup™, featuring PR Polo versus Arctic Wolf in collaboration with FAIM.WORLD.
A centerpiece of the evening will be the USA–Thailand cultural celebration, featuring two live Thai cultural dance shows, a celebrity DJ, Miss Global Thailand 2026 Saffron Maya Snook, along with other international Thai pageant titleholders, bringing the color, glamour, music and traditions of Thailand to Morven Park.
IPT will also welcome His Excellency Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the United States, as a special guest as the evening celebrates the friendship between the United States and Thailand through sport, culture and community.
Guests will experience arena polo under the lights, American and Thai cuisine, live entertainment, and charity auctions. Following the Championship Trophy Presentations and the evening’s Thai cultural finale, attention turns skyward for a choreographed grand-finale drone show over Morven Park, followed by after-polo festivities at Hotel Burg in downtown Leesburg.
“We are tremendously thankful for the sponsors, partners and friends bringing this celebration to life,” Salahi added. “IPT believes sport has the power to create extraordinary moments while connecting people, cultures and communities. We look forward to sharing that experience with everyone on September 19.”
Event proceeds will benefit We Will Survive Cancer. The evening will also honor the memory of Stuart Allen Weinstein-Bacal, an avid polo supporter and friend to the greater Washington, D.C. community who passed away from cancer earlier this year.
Additional hospitality events will take place at Hotel Burg following the matches. Event sponsors and partners include SINGHA Beer, Notorious Wines, Royal Thai Embassy, Thai-American Association, AmaWaterways Luxury River Cruises, Hotels at Sea® Luxury Cruises, Resorts at Sea®, U.S. Polo ASSN., International Polo Tour Stadium, PR Polo, Arctic Wolf, Head Impact Prevention, Hotel Burg, FAIMzone, Equine Sports Marketing and OUI Producciones.
